Labor has put unions ‘back in charge’

Sky News host Chris Smith says Labor has put unions “back in charge”.

The ABCC’s powers are set to be reduced to the “bare legal minimum” in preparation for the watchdog being abolished altogether as part of Labor’s federal election commitment.

“So, the unions won’t have to pay $15 million in fines, as they were forced to do by the ABCC in the past six years,” Mr Smith said.

“That proven foul behaviour, and the additional behaviour that occurs when the union cop leaves the beat, will continue unabated.”
