Sky News host James Morrow says to celebrate the fourth of July, every year a hotdog eating competition sees contestants “force unimaginable quantities of snags down their gobs”.
Mr Morrow said this year, reigning champion Joey Chestnut won for the 15th year in a row.
“(He) took the title again by downing 63 hot dogs and buns … while also taking out an animal rights protester who interrupted him in the middle of downing hotdog 18,” he said.
“Anyway it turns out the protester was from a group upset about a particular meat packing facility they called the Smithfield death star – that’s what it said on his t-shirt there.
“Joey went on to down 45 more dogs without missing a beat and take the championship again.”
