A teenage pedestrian is dead after she was hit by a car in Baxter, with police pleading for dashcam footage after the shock crash.
A 15-year-old girl has died after she was hit by a car at the Mornington Peninsula on Tuesday evening.
Police allege the Caulfield South teenager was struck by a female driver while she was walking along Fultons Rd in Baxter around 7.45pm.
She sadly died at the scene.
The 19-year-old driver, of Aspendale Gardens, stopped at the scene and is assisting police with inquiries.
Police are investigating but are yet to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the fatal collision.
