ARL Commission Chairman Peter V’Landys says it is “all or nothing” for rugby players choosing to wear a pride jersey in an NRL game.
Mr V’Landys said allowing players to wear another jersey instead of a pride jersey as an option potentially “sends the wrong signal”.
“Allowing those players to do that, it expresses we’re not inclusive … that can’t happen,” he told Sky News Australia.
“I think that sends the wrong signal.”
